Data analytics remains in high demand professionally. A senior executive at Google recently shared that jobs in this field can get individuals six-figure salaries without even completing a traditional college degree.

The founder of the Grow With Google program pointed out that data analysts play a crucial role in shaping business strategies by looking into raw data to find trends and create actionable insights.

These professionals analyse tools such as Tableau, SQL, and Excel to analyse metrics like sales performance and website traffic. These help companies operate in a more efficient manner.

A report by CNBC Make It said that data analytics emerged as one of the most sought-after skills in 2024, pointing out its importance across industries. The Bureau of Labor Statistics in the US estimated that data analytics and science jobs will grow by more than 30 per cent in the next ten years. This growth rate stands three times faster than the average job growth rate.
