Maruti Suzuki To Unveil Its New SUV On July 20 — Know What To Expect

The new Maruti Suzuki SUV would be completely different from the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder with a new look front-end and a rear design.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara: Maruti Suzuki will continue its launch spree with its new SUV which could be called as Vitara and would be shown on the 20th of this month. It would be completely different from the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder with a new look front-end and a rear design. The front-end will get different LED lighting plus a new grille along with a new bumper. Unlike the Glanza or Baleno, the differences have been done since the development of these new SUVs.

Even the interior would be changed with a new upholstery while features list like the panoramic sunroof would be retained from the Hyryder. It would also be the first Maruti to have a panoramic sunroof too. Like the Hyryder it will have a 9inch screen and a heads up display plus also a hybrid and a mild hybrid powertrain.

The new SUV would be the flagship Maruti SUV replacing the S-Cross in the Nexa range. It would be the most feature loaded Maruti with features like an HUD, ventilated seats, connected car tech and a 360 degree camera. The strong hybrid version would be having an EV mode too like on the Hyryder.

Maruti recently dropped the Vitara badge from the Brezza which hints the new SUV could be called Vitara. We will know more details soon leading up to its July 20-unveil. Toyota meanwhile will first launch its Hyryder in August and Maruti will launch it later around the festive season. This new SUV would be placed above the Brezza and aim to rival the likes of the Creta from Hyundai and the Seltos from Kia.
