Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Is The First CNG SUV
The Hydyer SUV would be the first one with a CNG and that is a unique feature since no other SUV comes with a factory-fitted CNG kit for now.
Toyota has entered the CNG space in a big way with not one but two launches with the Glanza CNG and the Hyryder CNG. The Glanza CNG variant would be available in the S & G grades, along with a Manual Transmission powertrain option. The Glanza CNG variant gets the ‘K-Series Engine' with a factory-fitted CNG kit and the E-CNG Glanza develops a power output of 57 KW (77.5 PS) while its efficiency figure is 30.61 KM/KG. The other big news is the Urban Cruiser Hyryder which is now available with a CNG variant and here the E-CNG Hydyder comes with a 1.5-liter K-series engine and a 5 Speed Manual Transmission. No automatic is offered with the CNG Glanza and Hyryder. The hyryder CNG has a mileage of 26.1 KM/KG too.
We will know the prices of the Hyryder CNG soon but the Glanza CNG prices are already out with the car being available at a price of Rs. 843,000 and Rs. 946,000 for grades G and S.

Also the Hyryder will not be offered just on the base trim as the CNG version will come with the mid-spec trim levels as well hence, the Hyryder CNG will get features like 17inch alloy wheels, LED projector lamps, touchscreen and a lot more.

The Hydyer hence gives buyers the option of a hybrid strong or a CNG which its rivals do not have for now. The CNG variant of the Hyryder is certainly interesting and can lure diesel buyers. The Hyryder CNG prices would most likely slot above the 1.5 mild hybrid in terms of price.
