Toyota Camry Hybrid Facelift Launched- Check Out Features, Mileage, Cost & Other Details

This is a facelift for the Camry with changes to the design plus the interiors with more features being added. 

New Delhi: Toyota has launched a facelifted version of its Camry Hybrid in India. The Camry Hybrid is currently its only sedan to be offered in India and is also one of the few full hybrid sedans. This is a facelift for the Camry with changes to the design plus the interiors with more features being added. 

Exterior wise, the Camry has got minor updates including a new front bumper and a new grille while there is less chrome used now for a sportier look. The rear combination lamps with LED Brake Lights are now available with a Black base extension. 

New Colours Added To The Range

There are new 18-inch alloy wheels as well while there is one new exterior colour added to the range called Metal Stream Metallic. This new colour is added to other colours like Platinum White Pearl, Silver Metallic, Graphite Metallic, Red Mica, Attitude Black, and Burning Black.

Features Inside-Out

Inside, the biggest change is the bigger touchscreen now being added. It gets a much bigger Floating 9-inch Infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto & Apple Carplay. The dashboard also gets an update in terms of the finish while the design of the AC vents has also been changed. The new infotainment system has a different look and improved design/menus from the earlier 8-inch unit. There is also a black wood trim which adds to the premium factor.

In terms of features, the new Camry Hybrid comes with various luxuries like Ventilated Front Seats with 10-Way Power Adjustable Driver Seat, ORVM and Tilt-Telescopic Steering Column with Memory Function, Wireless Smartphone Charger, three-zone climate control system, and a Heads-Up Display. There is also a sunroof. 

Safety & Comfort

For the rear passengers, the new Camry Hybrid gets features such as Rear Seats with Recliner, Power Assisted Rear Sunshade, Audio and AC Controls on a capacitive touch panel, placed on the rear armrest etc. Safety-wise the new Camry Hybrid comes with features like 9 SRS Airbags, Parking Assist, Traction Control, Hill Start Assist Control, Electronic Parking Brake with Brake Hold Function and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

Mileage & Cost

The hybrid petrol/electric powertrain remains unchanged and it is a 2.5-litre, 4-Cylinder petrol with a Motor Generator having a combined output of 218PS. There are three driving modes - Sport, Eco and Normal too. The New Camry’s hybrid battery comes with a warranty of 8 years or 1,60,000 kilometres. It is priced at Rs 41,70,000.
