April 2025 is the onset of summer and that brings in a lot of new cars waiting in the wings. This month we have some big launches coming up and it starts with a duo of premium SUVs along with an electric sports car.

Volkswagen Tiguan R

Volkswagen will launch the new generation Tiguan in India and it will come with the R specification which is the top-end global model, to be brought as an import in India, the new Tiguan R will come in limited numbers at 300 cars in the first batch and this is the new generation model which is bigger than the earlier car. The new Tiguan R will come with a 2.0l turbo petrol and a new interior with more features along with more technology.

Skoda Kodiaq

This is the new generation Kodiaq which is also shown at the Auto Expo and will come with a 2.0lt turbo petrol. The new Kodiaq is bigger and more spacious while coming with a new design language as well. The new Kodiaq has more technology on the inside as compared to the previous and would be more luxurious now in its new avatar. It will get all wheel drive as well along with a standard dual clutch automatic gearbox.

MG Cyberster

MG showed the new Cyberster and it is a stunning sports car which is also fully electric along with supercar like doors. The new Cyberster will come to India in its most powerful form with a dual motor configuration which develops 510hp and 725Nm. The range of the Cyberster would be around 580km and it will be the only electric sports car that you can buy at its expected price bracket which would be more than Rs 65 lakh.
