The Sierra EV would be launched first and would be followed by the ICE engine version. The Sierra EV would be the one of the more premium EVs by Tata Motors while being based on a bespoke EV platform.

The looks would also be similar to the concept that we saw at the last Expo which was nearer to the production form. The new Sierra would be a five-door and would come with boxy lines but in a radical look.

The distinctive B-pillar design will also be there while some original design cues would also be kept. Size wise the Sierra would be around 4.3 m in length which means it would be around the Curvv's size while being smaller than the Safari or Harrier. It would be positioned below the Harrier EV and above the Curvv EV.

Lets talk about features and here, the Sierra EV will have a lounge like interior with the rear seat wrapped around you. Also, it will have a 12.3-inch touchscreen but the centre console would be different from the other Tata cars. In terms of features expect the lounge seats with fold out tables at the back and the seats could have a thigh support extension as well. Other equipment details include a panoramic sunroof, a mini information display for the passenger seat, a frunk, a heads-up display, ADAS, Vehicle to Load (V2L) and Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V), cooled seats, dual powered front seats and more.

The new Gen-2 Pure EV platform will mean more space as well with a flat floor. We expect a 55kWh battery pack for the Sierra EV and the range would be around 550 km. To be launched next year, the price would be around Rs 25 lakh for the EV version and that would be a bit more than the Curvv EV.
