Tata Nexon EV Max Long Range Launching Soon With More Power And Range To Rival MG ZS

The Nexon EV Max would be aimed at getting more buyers with the added range while further expanding the EV space which currently has virtually no competition except for MG.

New Delhi: Tata Motors has revealed the name of its new launch which is expected to be introduced in the Indian market by the 11th of this month. It will be called as Nexon EV Max with being the new flagship variant within the Nexon range. The EV Max will come with a larger 40kWh battery pack and more power. Importantly the range would be now a lot more at around 400km over the current 312km for the Nexon EV standard version.

There would be more design changes which would differentiate it over the standard Nexon EV too.

Plus expect more features like rear disc brakes, ventilated seats and an air purifier. Unlike the Nexon EV available now, the EV Max will get adjustable modes for regenerative braking which is there on more premium EVs.

We expect prices to rise to around Rs 19 lakh now while it will compete with the MG ZS EV which is priced at Rs 25 lakh plus in its current top-end trim. The new ZS claims a range of 461kms and has a 50.3 kWh battery pack.

The Nexon EV Max would be aimed at getting more buyers with the added range while further expanding the EV space which currently has virtually no competition except for MG.

The Nexon EV Max would be on sale along with the standard version at the current price point too.

We will be bringing you more details so stay tuned for information on the Nexon EV Max.
