Tata Nexon And Nexon EV Facelift Launched. Check Prices, Features

Tata Nexon EV: The Nexon EV has a new motor that is lighter than before and has more power and it starts from Rs 14.74 lakh.

The new Nexon and Nexon EV facelifts have been launched together. Prices for the Nexon petrol start at Rs 8.09 lakh while the diesel version starts at Rs 10.99 lakh. The Nexon EV range meanwhile starts from Rs 14.74 lakh lakh.

The Nexon facelift gets styling changes including a split headlamp/DRL treatment plus the EV version gets a full LED DRL set-up which also indicates the charging status. The Nexon petrol or diesel gets a different design for the front with a slim upper grille. The bumper design to the wheels are also new while being different on the Nexon EV due to aero inserts for better range efficiency.

The rear styling is updated also and gets a full width LED light bar. Ground clearance for the Nexon petrol/diesel stands at 208mm while in the Nexon EV it is 205/190mm for the Medium range and the Long range version.

Inside, the new Nexon and Nexon EV get a new two spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo while there is a new completely digital instrument cluster as well while the Nexon petrol/diesel gets a 10.25-inch screen, the Nexon EV gets a bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen. There are new features added as well now with a 360 degree camera, more connected car features, ventilated seats, sunroof etc The Nexon now also gets more safety features as standard as well with six airbags and ESC.

The Nexon petrol has a 1.2l turbo petrol while the diesel continues with a 1.5l unit. The petrol though gets the DCA automatic dual clutch gearbox with paddle shifters. The Nexon EV has a new motor which is lighter than before and has more power. Both the Long Range and the Medium range versions have more range efficiency now at 465 and 325km respectively. Regen braking is also accessed by steering paddles.
