Tata Harrier EV Vs Mahindra XEV 9e: Specifications Compared

Both the EVs are feature packed with the XEV 9e having a panoramic sunroof with pattern lighting, 16-speaker Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos, HUD, 7 airbags, ADAS, remote parking and more.

The electric premium SUV space has exploded with numerous entrants but one of the most talked about debuts has been the XEV 9e from Mahindra and now it's Tata.ev's turn to launch the Harrier EV. Both of these electric cars would clash against each other and let us take a look at what you can expect from them.

Which car is bigger?

The XEV 9e has a length of 4789mm and a wheelbase of 2775 mm. The Harrier EV is also having a length of 4598mm while also having a wheelbase of 2741mm. Both are 5 seater SUVs. The XEV has a coupe styling with a light bar while getting details like flush door handles, connected tail-lamps and more. You can spec 19 or 20-inch wheels too. The Harrier EV also has a light bar, massive wheels and aerodynamics infused styling. However, unlike the XEV 9e, the Harrier EV is similar to the ICE version.

Which car has more power?

The XEV 9e has either a 59kWh and 79kWh battery pack with a 286bhp single motor. The Harrier EV battery pack has not been specified yet but here we also expect a dual motor version which will make it AWD. The torque on offer is 500Nm from the Harrier EV AWD while the XEV has 380Nm. In terms of range, both of these EVs will give 500km range in the real world which is more than many more expensive ones!

Technology overload?

Both the EVs are feature packed with the XEV 9e having a panoramic sunroof with pattern lighting, 16-speaker Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos, HUD, 7 airbags, ADAS, remote parking and more. The Harrier EV will also get similar features and yes it also features the summon mode where you can remotely drive the car.

The XEV 9e starts from Rs 21.90 Lakh and the top model price goes upto Rs. 31.25 Lakh while we expect the same price range for the Harrier EV where the prices could touch Rs 30 lakh.
