Tata Harrier EV Gets 10,000 Bookings As Deliveries Begin This Month

Production of the Harrier EV has also started at its Pune facility while Tata.ev also expects a chunk of the demand for the AWD version too

Tata.ev has claimed that the Harrier EV has gotten more than 10,000 bookings so far within a day of the bookings being started. Deliveries will start from July too for this flagship EV from Tata. Prices for the Harrier EV start from Rs 21.49 lakh and the AWD Quad variant starts at Rs 28.9 lakh. This is excluding the charger and the Stealth editions further cost Rs 75,000 which is added. Production of the Harrier EV has also started at its Pune facility while Tata.ev also expects a chunk of the demand for the AWD version too.

The Harrier EV comes with Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) and Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) versions and has four colour options- Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pristine White, and Pure Grey. The battery packs on offer include a 65 and a 75kwh battery pack while the top-end 75kwh battery pack has 313 horsepower and 504 Nm of torque which is the AWD version. Tata claims a 0-100 km/h time of 6.3 seconds for the AWD version which also makes it the fastest Indian SUV.

The Harrier EV also recently got a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. Features of the Harrier EV include a 540-degree surround view camera, ADAS, 10-speaker JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos, Neo QLED display, a digital rear mirror and a digital key plus a lot more. The Harrier EV competes with the XEV 9e amongst others like the BYD Atto 3. We will be driving the Harrier EV soon on the road so stay tuned for a proper review coming in a few days time.
