Skoda Slavia Sedan Launching Soon. Check Details

The Slavia would be launched with features including ventilated front seats, electric sunroof, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, auto headlamps and wipers, six airbags and more.

New Delhi: Skoda will launch its Slavia sedan on the 28th of this month. However there is a twist in this, because first, there would be the launch of the Slavia with the 1.0l turbo petrol and then the 1.5l TSI would be launching on March 3.

Hence, first we will get to know the price of the 1.0l Slavia and the 1.5l TSI Slavia price reveal will happen a few days later.

The Slavia with the 1.0l turbo-petrol develops 115PS and 175 Nm while both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic will come with that engine. The Slavia with the 1.5l turbo petrol will come with a 7-speed DSG and a 6-speed manual.

The 1.5 TSI, meanwhile, develops 150 bhp and 250Nm- making it the most powerful sedan in its class. The engines are similar to the Kushaq- also based on the same platform as the Slavia.

Bookings for the Slavia have started already some time back. The Slavia would be launched with features including ventilated front seats, electric sunroof, digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, auto headlamps and wipers, six airbags, rear view camera, wireless smartphone connectivity and more.

The Slavia as reported earlier will come with three trim levels- Active, Ambition and Style. Deliveries will start soon after the price announcement is done.

The Slavia is a new sedan that is a welcome change from the usual SUV launches which normally happen a lot more. The Slavia will enter into competition with the likes of the Honda City, Hyundai Verna and more while its line-up of turbo charged petrol engines, features and looks will certainly be one of its strong points.

Stay tuned for our review of the Skoda Slavia later in the month too.
