Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 To Be Its Most Expensive Bike

While the design has close ties with the 350 Meteor, the headlamp DRL design along with the rear tail-lamp differentiates the 650 version.

New Delhi: Royal Enfield is readying a slew of new motorcycles for the Indian market starting with its new 650cc offering- the Enfield Super Meteor 650. The bike would be unveiled at the EICMA 2022 with an India unveiling a few days later. The second 650 bike will come in later for now.

Back to the Super Meteor 650 and since we saw the spy pics earlier, we already have an idea of how the bike looks. The bike borrows many bits from the Meteor 350 including its Tripper Navigation pod. Even the seat and the instrument cluster would be borrowed from its smaller engined sibling.

However, while the design has close ties with the 350 Meteor, the headlamp DRL design along with the rear tail-lamp differentiates the 650 version. It will also be having USD forks along with a more sculpted fuel tank design while its tyres would also be similar to the other 650cc bikes.

The engine would be similar to the 650s within the RE range and will have a 648cc motor with the same bhp amount plus the performance.

In terms of pricing, the Super Meteor 650 would be its most premium bike and its most expensive since we expect the bike to be priced at Rs 3 lakh plus.

This motorcycle from Royal Enfield will make its debut at the Rider Mania event a few days away while for now, this would be the only new bike from RE with the next one being the Shotgun 650. That bike will also have the same platform as the Super Meteor 650 while being readied for launch later.

Along with these motorcycles, Royal Enfield will also launch other new bikes with many new launches in the pipeline including the 450 Himalyan plus more. Stay tuned for more on this new motorcycle.
