New Renault Duster Coming In 2025, Will Have 7-Seats — Check Details

One of the biggest brands for Renault in India was the Duster and it has been sadly discontinued while the newer version was not considered for India.

New Delhi: Renault and Nissan are looking at India as a massive opportunity to enter high-growth segments in the years to come. Currently, both Nissan and Renault do not have a presence in the compact SUV segment as the Magnite and the Kiger are in the sub-compact SUV space. However, with the fresh investment, expect the first new cars for India to come in 2025. The investment is about developing new products for the Indian market and a platform which is cost-efficient. One of the biggest brands for Renault in India was the Duster and it has been sadly discontinued while the newer version was not considered for India.

However, one of the cars earmarked for India is a compact SUV which would be the new Duster.

It would be an all-new model and will obviously spawn a Nissan version too. There would be numerous SUVs planned and the new Duster will also get a longer 7-seater version too. The platform would be flexible and that means there would be a standard petrol version along with hybrid power while also getting an EV derivative.

The Duster is a big brand and has enough recall hence the new version is expected to be modern, tech loaded and will have a proper upright SUV styling attached to it. The new Duster could be a brand also which will be having several derivatives including the aforementioned 7-seater version.

However, with some time away, Renault would be in the meantime looking at other products from its global CBU range to keep things going. However, for the SUV buyer, the return of the Duster could be big news. By 2025 the SUV segment would be massively changed with several new competitors including full EV participants and the arrival of the new generation Duster could make things interesting for sure!
