New Renault Duster- When Is It Launching In India?

The standard petrol engine would most likely be a turbo petrol in 1.3 guise with manual and automatic while unlike the last Duster, we do not expect an AWD version

Renault India is taking its time to launch its next product and it is the new Duster SUV of course. While we were waiting for the Duster to launch in 2025, it will require more wait as the Duster in its petrol only avatar will come in by next year only. Based on a modular new platform, the new Duster is bigger and has a more muscular look with Y shaped design elements.

The new Duster for now would be coming with a petrol engine only while a 3 row version will also come later. While the interiors for the global Dacia Duster are rugged and basic, the India spec versions could be extensively modified to add more features. For India we expect a larger touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster along with a 360 degree camera plus ADAS and more. As said before, the equipment list would be modified to suit Indian market requirements like a sunroof and other extra features.

New Renault Duster- When Is It Launching In India?

The standard petrol engine would most likely be a turbo petrol in 1.3 guise with manual and automatic while unlike the last Duster, we do not expect an AWD version. The rugged Duster would have off-road and muscular styling as its main highlight which makes it stand out amongst rivals. Competition is already high in the compact SUV segment and the Duster will have a lot of new rivals to compete with but the Duster name is well recognised here which would be a slight advantage of sorts.
