New Maruti Celerio India Launch On Nov 10 — Check Features, Specifications & More

In these days of high fuel prices, the fact that the new Celerio would be more efficient would indeed be welcome.

New Delhi: Maruti is readying its next big launch and that is the Celerio for India. This is the all-new Celerio which will be launched in India on the 10th of November. This is the new generation model based on the platform which also underpins the Swift, Baleno and the Wagon R.

Hence with this new platform, the new Celerio is safer, lighter and even more fuel-efficient. In these days of high fuel prices, the fact that the new Celerio would be more efficient would indeed be welcome.

The new Celerio also looks different being bigger and will get new alloy wheels plus LED DRls. The interiors would be much more premium when compared to the current model with a touch screen system being added along with features like smartphone connectivity, rearview camera, steering mounted controls and more.

Expect a step up in quality with the new Wagon R getting a new interior as well. A new platform also means a bigger size which means a longer wheelbase for the new Celerio. Hence, the rear seat would be more spacious along with more headroom while boot space would also be increased..

Maruti will also provide more engine options with the new Celerio with a new 1.2l petrol engine that will join the 1.0 litre one. Also new would be the fact that the AMT automatic gearbox would be offered with both the powertrains just like the new Wagon R. Standard would be the 5-speed manual gearbox of course.

We expect prices to increase over the current Celerio but not by much and Maruti will also make it much more efficient over the current model. We will be having more news on this car very soon! Other than the new Celerio, Maruti is also planning a slew of other launches including the new Baleno premium hatchback.
