New Kia Seltos Facelift To Launch On July 4

The new Seltos enters a fiercely competitive space but these new features will certainly help it to gain stronger traction. Check out details here.

Kia has shown a teaser for its upcoming Seltos which is scheduled for launch in July 2023. The new Seltos facelift is an important launch for Kia since it has been its best-selling model with the new one getting quite a lot of changes. As the teaser also shows, the new Kia Seltos will get an altered front and rear styling. It also gets a new headlamp design plus new DRLs as well.

The chin is also tweaked for a more aggressive look for the GT Line models. The GT Line will get more aggressive styling details which will separate itself from the HT Line. There would also be a new design for the alloy wheels. Inside, as revealed before, the new Seltos will get a twin screen layout plus a new digital instrument cluster along with a tweaked interior design.

That said, the talking point would be the list of the new features with additions like a panoramic sunroof, ADAS and dual-zone climate control. Then there is wireless connectivity and more. The engine too is all new with a 1.5l turbo petrol which replaces the earlier 1.4l turbo petrol with more power on tap.

The other engine options will include a 1.5l diesel and a 1.5l petrol. Gearbox options will also be continued with no change with automatic offered with all three powertrains.

The new Seltos enters a fiercely competitive space but these new features will certainly help it to gain stronger traction.

The new Seltos will, of course, compete with rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, and the Skoda Kushaq.
