New BR-V 2021 - Is This The New Honda SUV For India?

The new BR-V seems to be much better looking than old BR-V while featuring a more SUV like design. It also has a ground clearance of 220Nm which is fairly impressive while 17inch alloys are offered.

New Delhi: The all new generation BR-V has been revealed and this might be the next new SUV for India which Honda is developing. It is unclear as to when the new SUV is coming to India but it would be at the start of 2023 as development is currently on for that. The new BR-V might be that SUV and it could come to India too. The new BR-V is a 7-seater three row crossover while being the production version of the N7X concept. The new BR-V aims to be an MPV in terms of space but has a SUV like appearance

The new BR-V seems to be much better looking than the old BR-V while featuring a more SUV like design. It also has a ground clearance of 220Nm which is fairly impressive while 17inch alloys are offered. Inside, the BR-V being shared with the Amaze platform is seen with the dashboard design similar to the Amaze but there are changes. A new instrument cluster is there with a central TFT display while 1st and 2nd row get armrests. There is a 7inch touchscreen also there along with the usual features.

Speaking of which, the new BR-V gets lane-watch technology seen on the more expensive City, Remote Engine Start which functions to start the vehicle engine and air conditioning automatically before entering the vehicle. Other features, such as the Walk-Away Auto Lock function to lock the door automatically when the driver has walked at least 2 meters or more from the car etc.New BR-V 2021 - Is This The New Honda SUV For India?

There is also the introduction of Honda sensing with autonomous technologies like adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation, lane keep assist and more. In Indonesia the new BR-V debuts with a 1.5l petrol with 120bhp along with CVT/manual options. We can expect the new BR-V in India since Honda already makes the Amaze here and it could be an interesting launch since 7-seaters are getting more popular.
