The new Q7 comes with OLED headlamps and of course they get customisable light signatures too
Audi has launched the new Q7 in India and the price is Rs 88.66 lakh and that is aggressive pricing for the big Audi. Normally all of rivals are costing Rs 1 crore and above and that's where Audi has played the pricing game right.
The new Q7 comes with OLED headlamps and of course they get customisable light signatures too. Elsewhere the grille is new and there is more chrome. At the rear there are new taillamps too while there is a choice of five exterior colours.
The interior meanwhile comes with two upholstery options while the infotainment system has also been updated. Added features include 4 zone climate control, virtual cockpit, 19 speaker audio system and more including a panoramic sunroof plus more.
The Q7 continues to have three row seating as well.
The new Q7 still continues with a v6 turbo petrol engine with 340 bhp and 500N m while standard is an 8speed automatic with Quattro. Audi says that the new Q7 will do 0-100 in 5.6 seconds while the top speed is 250 kmph.
Compared to rivals the new Q7 is cheaper and now it also has an electrically adjustable third row.
Audi had earlier launched the Q8 while now the more volume centric Q7 has been launched in India.
The Q7 has sold 10,000 units in India and remains one of their most important cars. It remains to be seen how the new Q7 competes in the market with its aggressive pricing when compared to other SUVs.
