New 2022 Mahindra Scorpio Launch On August 14

This is the all new Scorpio with a new look, new platform and new engines along with new features.

New Delhi: Mahindra has always launched its new important cars on the eve of our Independence Day. We have seen the XUV700 getting its price reveal last year and this year similarly, the all new Scorpio would be launched on 14th August.

This is the all new Scorpio with a new look, new platform and new engines along with new features.

This is a full generation change, based on a new platform just like the all new Thar and XUV700. The new Scorpio has been seen testing for a long time and this August 14, we might get to see the production version while Mahindra also might surprise us with its pricing.

The new Scorpio is bigger than the current model with a longer wheelbase which will mean more space. The new Scorpio will be a three row SUV but with forward facing seats.

Inside, the new Scorpio will get a new interior like the XUV700, including a new bigger touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, sunroof and more such luxury features. The new platform will mean better ride and handling too while efficiency would also increase.

Just like the new Thar, the new Scorpio will come with a 2.0l turbo petrol with both manual and automatic on offer along with a 2.2l diesel with also manual and automatic on offer. All wheel drive is also expected but like the XUV700, the diesel might only get the all wheel drive function.

The new Scorpio would be more expensive but Mahindra might just again surprise us with its pricing. The Scorpio will be placed below the XUV700 but offroad it might be closer to Thar.

The new Scorpio will not have any direct rival since no other SUV at this price would offer 4x4.
