MG Windsor Pro Spied: To Come With Larger Battery Pack And V2L

MG will most probably launch the car in the coming days and we can expect this new variant to add 500 to 1000 units further to its monthly sales tally

MG will launch its Windsor with a larger battery pack this month and it could be called Windsor Pro. The Windsor Pro is expected to be the flagship variant in the Windsor range and the headlines would be a larger 50.3 kwh battery pack which means that the range will increase to more than 400km plus. We expect the larger battery pack to enable the Windsor to have a range of about 450km claimed.

That aside as the spy image shows us, the Windsor Pro as seen here has an induction cooker connected to it and that means it will have a V2L feature. V2L means where an EV can charge external devices and appliances. Other than V2L we can also expect ADAS features to be added to the MG Windsor feature list. The Windsor is currently the best-selling EV in India and this update will further expand its buyer base even further.

The Windsor Pro will join the current Windsor and would be for those who need the extra range with the larger battery pack. MG will most probably launch the car in the coming days and we can expect this new variant to add 500 to 1000 units further to its monthly sales tally. The Windsor Pro as seen in the image could also come with some minor tweaks elsewhere while we also expect badging to differentiate it further. Stay tuned to get more information regarding this new variant of the Windsor with a larger battery pack.
