MG Comet Interior Is Inspired By Apple iPod

MG has not revealed the features list but we expect a generous equipment list including connected car tech, climate control, electric parking brake and more.

The interior has a simple theme with the two steering wheel with minimalistic controls as well.

MG Motor has teased the interior of its upcoming Comet electric car and it certainly looks interesting for sure. The image shows iPod like controls for the steering wheel including round multifunction ones. The round controls are different from the usual fare that we see on standard cars. Elsewhere you can see that it will get dual 10.25-inch screens including a massive 10.25-inch screen for the instrument cluster as well as a touchscreen. The large touch screen makes it much larger than other cars at this price and would be one of the highlights of the Comet.

You can see round knobs on the steering wheel too and the interior has a simple theme with the two steering wheel with minimalistic controls as well. Look closer and you will see slim AC vents and the white theme across the cabin is also like the iPod. That goes well with the simple theme of the car.

Despite its compact footprint, the Comet has a long wheelbase and that means more space too. That is due to an electric platform which brings flexibility. The Comet is a two door hatchback but will get a good amount of space inside. MG has not revealed the features list but we expect a generous equipment list including connected car tech, climate control, electric parking brake and more. It will also get a lot of safety features.

The MG Comet is expected to get two battery packs with two range estimates while we expect the range to be in the region of 200-300 km. Price wise, the MG Comet could be placed between Rs 10-15 lakh depending on the trim and it is placed as an urban mobility solutions car. The car would be launched soon and we would also be driving it soon as well. Stay tuned.
