Maruti To Bring Own Innova Hycross, Will The MPV Be Its Most Expensive Model?

The Innova Hycross has been a big leap for the Innova brand with a new platform, a strong hybrid motor and a lot of new features.

Maruti Suzuki has plans for several launches throughout the calendar year, with one of the most highly anticipated being the Jimny and Fronx. Another significant launch will be the Maruti version of the Innova Hycross, which is to be the most expensive Maruti Suzuki vehicle and be likely sold through the Nexa sales outlets.

Toyota recently launched the Innova Hycross and it has received positive feedback, with many bookings already being made. Deliveries of the Innova Hycross have started in selected cities. It is expected to only be a matter of months before the Maruti version of the Innova Hycross reaches the market.

The Innova Hycross has been a big leap for the Innova brand with a new platform, a strong hybrid motor and a lot of new features. The Maruti version is expected to carry the same including the strong hybrid powertrain and the petrol motor along with the features. However, the key differentiation would be the styling which is expected to be completely different from the Innova Hycross.

There would be a new front end with a different grille, and headlamp/DRL design while the rear styling would also be changed. There would be new alloy wheels too. The Maruti version of the Innova Hycross would be their most expensive product and would also be their most premium. The pricing would be on par with the Innova Hycross but might also be more expensive if going by the pricing of the Grand Vitara and the Hyryder.

With the Jimny and the Fronx being expected to be launched in the coming months, the Maruti version of the Innova Hycross will most probably launch around the festive season along with being retailed at the Nexa dealerships of course. It would be aimed at the premium MPV segment and also target premium SUV buyers also within the Rs 15-25 lakh price bracket.
