Mahindra XUV3XO EV Could Be Much More Affordable Than XUV400

With the 3XO, Mahindra will make an EV version of this car and it will not be longer than the XUV3XO as instead it will be the same length

Mahindra is readying its new line-up of EVs but the next one could be the XUV3XO EV version which is right around the corner. The XUV400 is the current electric version but it is longer than the ICE version which was under 4m. With the 3XO, Mahindra will make an EV version of this car and it will not be longer than the XUV3XO as instead it will be the same length.

Hence, the 3XO EV would be less than 4m and at the same size as the ICE engined 3XO. We can expect some design changes owing to the fact that it is an EV with a possibly blanked off grille along with a healthy dose of copper accents just like the current XUV400. Of course it will get some styling tweaks but they would be minimal when compared to the current XUV400.

The XUV 3XO will get different aero inspired alloy wheels though. The XUV3XO electric would be positioned as an even more affordable EV hence could get a smaller battery pack but all that would be revealed closer to launch which could be next month. The XUV3XO though would be much more affordable than the XUV400 with being below 4m and the smaller battery where Mahindra electric now wants to play the volume game.

The XUV3XO EV will compete with the likes of the Tata Nexon EV but would be priced aggressively too. Mahindra other than that is readying a whole line-up of electric cars to compete with the newer crop of EVs with its born electric platform including the BE05 and the premium EVs set for launch at a later date.
