Mahindra XEV 9e Expected Range And Features With Passenger Screen
The interior of the coupe SUV XEV 9e features no less than three screens including one for the passenger which is something you see only in higher crore plus cars
Based on its Born electric platform, the new range of EVs from Mahindra are days away from being unveiled while new details have been revealed regarding their interior design. The interior of the coupe SUV XEV 9e features no less than three screens including one for the passenger which is something you see only in higher crore plus cars. The third screen could have some of the entertainment features as on the main screen but giving access to the passenger instead.
This EV is based on the INGLO platform and would have a radical cabin design with more emphasis on screens and a digital instrument cluster running on the latest AndrenoX software. While some bits would be shared with current Mahindra cars, the XE 9e has a more futuristic look while it would have an illuminated logo too on the steering. We expect the features list to be higher than the current Mahindra SUVs with luxuries along with more connected car tech.
At the start we expect the XEV 9e to come with a RWD single motor only but will have two battery packs as also it will be seen with the smaller BE 6e SUV. In terms of size, it would be a coupe version of the XUV700 although it shares no similarity at all. The battery pack would be 60 and 70kWh ones and the range should be above 500km for the top-end version atleast. The XEV 9e would be a premium electric SUV positioned at the top-end range while pricing plus more details would be revealed soon. Mahindra has big plans for its EVs and also will increase capacity going forward.
