Mahindra Thar Armada 5-Door Gets A Different Look From 3-Door Ahead Of August 15 Launch

The Mahindra Thar Armada 5-door features a distinct design with round LED headlamps, a revised grille, and an elongated wheelbase.

The first look of the new Thar Armada 5 door has been leaked and it reveals a different look from the 3 door. Compared to the 3-door Thar, the 5-door Armada gets a round LED projector headlamp setup plus a different grille. The grille marks the 5 door version out and has a different pattern with double slots. The 3-door Thar has a simpler 7-slot grille.

The side view shows the longer wheelbase and the extra set of doors along with the camera being present on the mirror which means that there is a 360-degree camera on offer. The rear door handle location is also unique while looking to be smaller than the front doors.

5-Door Thar Armada To Get Premium Cabin And More Features

Compared to the 3-door, the 5-door looks more premium and gets more differentiation over the smaller sibling. The 5-door Thar Armada will also get a much more premium cabin and more features. There would be a 10.25-inch screen and a 10.25-inch digital driver display plus the latest connected car technology along with the above-mentioned 360-degree camera plus ADAS even along with a sunroof.

The engine options would be shared with the Thar 3 door including turbo petrol and a diesel along with four-wheel drive being offered with both the powertrain and rear wheel drive would be standard. The launch would be on the 15th of August and we will know the prices which we expect to be slightly more than the 3 door. As we have said earlier, the Thar 5-door Armada would be more expensive than the Scorpio N owing to the more features on offer while having some differences in the Mahindra range.
