Mahindra Makes Scorpio N Z8 More Affordable With Select Variant
The Scorpio N Z8 Select variant boasts features like Adrenox Connect, built-in Alexa, dual-barrel LED headlamps, LED projector fog lamps, R17 diamond-cut alloy wheels, and more.
Mahindra has added another variant to the Scorpio N — the Z8 Select — that makes the range more affordable. With this addition, the Z8 range now starts at Rs 16.9 lakh. The Z8 Select comes with diesel and petrol options, including 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions.
The Scorpio N Z8 Select variant boasts features like Adrenox Connect, built-in Alexa, dual-barrel LED headlamps, LED projector fog lamps and LED daytime running lamps (DRL), R17 diamond-cut alloy wheels, coffee-black leatherette interiors and more. The Z8 Select also gets a new Midnight Black colour addition as well, along with LED Daytime Running Lamps, LED Projector Fog Lamps, and LED sequential turn indicators on the ORVMs, an 8-inch infotainment screen and 17.78 cm colour TFT cluster, built-in Alexa, sunroof, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The petrol manual version is priced at Rs 16.9 lakh while the automatic transmission unit is priced at Rs 18.4 lakh. The diesel Z8 Select diesel manual range costs Rs 17.9 lakh and the diesel automatic version is priced at Rs 18.9 lakh. The new variant is placed below the Z8 and the Z8L in India and aims to bring in more features at a cheaper price.

The Scorpio N has been hugely successful among SUV lovers. To counter new SUVs launched in its price segment, Mahindra wants to make the Scorpio N more appealing and also make it an alternative to compact SUV buyers as well. Compared to the higher Z8, variants it misses out on dual-zone climate control, tyre pressure monitoring system, and a push-to-start button.
