Urus SE SUV launch: Lamborghini has launched the newest avatar of its Urus SUV in India. The price of the Urus SE is Rs 4. 57 crore while deliveries will start from next year. The Urus SE has a hybrid powertrain after the Revuelto hypercar.

The 4.0 litre twin turbocharged V8 is combined with a plugin hybrid set-up with a 25.9 kWh battery pack. Hence with the electric motor, the total power output of the Urus SE is around 800bhp and 950Nm.

Importantly it is a hybrid which means you can drive upto 60 km in pure EV mode while a 0-100 km per hour time of 3.4 seconds means it is one of the fastest SUVs available while nearly matching the time of the Urus Performante SUV too.

There are also no less than 10 driving modes on the car and four are new to the Urus SE plug in hybrid SUV. These four modes are EV Drive, Hybrid, Recharge and Performance.

The Urus SE also gets cosmetic tweaks which sharpen its appearance further with altered bumpers plus slimmer LED headlamps. Not just cosmetic as the Urus SE also has aerodynamic tweaks while the new plug in hybrid powertrain reduces emissions by 80 per cent.

When you move to the interior, the Urus SE has a larger 12.3 inch touchscreen and has the latest infotainment system. This larger touchscreen is similar to the Revuelto as well.

There are a lot of customisations on offer with the Urus SE in regards to the interior too.

The Urus remains the most popular in the Lamborghini range and in India it has been one of the best selling cars in the super luxury segment.
