Hyundai To Launch Creta Facelift Next Year With A New Look, Check Out Pics
This facelifted version does look more appealing and Hyundai will also take the opportunity to add more features to the Creta with ADAS features like seen on the MG Astor and Mahindra XUV700.
The Creta is selling like hotcakes and currently sits on a waiting period reaching 6 months to 9 months for some variants. Now, obviously Hyundai does not need to launch a new Creta as of now. That said, next year, with the Creta completing two years, we can have the facelifted version that you see here.
This is the new Creta for Indonesia and first of all, gets a new grille which is very much like the new Tucson worldwide. It gets a “Parametric Hidden Lights” theme with a massive new grille up-front and new headlamps.
The headlamps are below while the DRLs are part of the grille. The rear also gets an updated look with a bigger rear spoiler and new tail lamps. Compared to the Creta sold here, the new one does look sharper and sportier. It remains to be seen whether the India spec model will get the exact same changes or not but we guess the Creta facelift would be substantial at least.
This facelifted version does look more appealing and Hyundai will also take the opportunity to add more features to the Creta with ADAS features like seen on the MG Astor and Mahindra XUV700. Along with that, most of the features seen on the current Creta would be carried over with the 10.25-inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, cooled seats and more. In terms of the engine options, expect things to stay the same with the 1.5l diesel/1.5l petrol and the 1.4l turbo petrol.
The petrol Creta comes with DCT in the turbo and a CVT option with the 1.5l. Expect Hyundai to launch the new Creta next year and not immediately since the car-maker is already facing a huge order pile up with the current version.
