There are over 1.2 million Creta cars on the road and the current generation form has been a huge success after the car received a facelift earlier last year

The Creta which is a premium 4m plus SUV has outsold all cars by claiming the No1 slot for March with a sales figure of 18,059 units. It is interesting that top-end variants are in demand with 24 percent of total Creta sales being the top-end ones while for the Creta electric it is upwards of 70 percent sales in FY 24-25. Variants with sunroof contributed to around 69 percent of the total Creta sales as well while connected car tech is also an in-demand feature with near 40 percent of the total sales.

There are over 1.2 million Creta cars on the road and the current generation form has been a huge success after the car received a facelift earlier last year. For the Creta, the 1.5 MPI or the 1.5 naturally aspirated petrol engine has been one of the most popular options while middle to the top-end versions are in demand as the numbers show.

The updated new Creta features an electric version, diesel, petrol and an N-line turbo petrol as well. The Creta in its new avatar also gets more features like a 360 degree camera, cooled seats, dual zone climate control system, ADAS, panoramic sunroof, an 8-speaker Bose sound system and more. The newly launched Creta electric also gets more features while being the most feature packed Creta that you can get.

However, the Creta in petrol continues to outsell the electric and the other versions while diesel is also in demand in the Creta. Despite competition, the Creta continues to outsell other SUVs while also outselling all cars for the month of March!
