Hyundai Creta EV Features To Match Creta ICE

Hyundai will most probably start production of its Creta EV by the end of this year with a launch by early next year. The features of this EV SUV are one of the highlights and it will most likely match the Creta ICE which also received a significant upgrade earlier this year.

We expect the Creta EV to get different wheels with EV specific tyres and aero inserts too. That said, in terms of features we expect the Creta EV to get dual zone climate control, a 360 degree camera, ADAS Level 2, a powered hand brake plus a powered drivers seat. However Hyundai might go a step ahead and equip the Creta EV with even more features like heated/cooled seats as well plus more connected car tech features along with EV specific screens for the infotainment system.

The Creta EV will be one of the most awaited EVs and will be a part of the launch plans for Hyundai which further includes more EVs in the pipeline. Other than that we can expect V2V or V2L to be offered too which is something present on other EVs too like the new Nexon EV. Plus we can also expect multi level regen braking.

The Creta EV would be based on the new Creta while getting a 50/60kWh battery pack with a single motor. Power output will be similar to other EVS too within this price bracket. The Creta EV would be its most affordable EV and also placed right in the middle of the competitive EV segment which will soon have more entrants.

The Creta EV would be different from the standard ICE Creta with a blanked off front-end while the side profile would be expected to be the same. The Creta EV will compete with the eVX from Maruti plus the Curvv EV from Tata amongst others.
