Hyundai Creta Electric Vs Maruti E Vitara Vs Mahindra BE 6 Vs Tata Curvv

All four are very well equipped with a lot of tech. The Creta Electric for example will get V2L, a digital key, an active flap at the front, 360 degree camera, a panoramic sunroof and more

The EV segment will soon get a lot of contenders and amongst them will be no less than three such offerings, the BE 6 from Mahindra as well as the e Vitara from Maruti Suzuki plus the just unveiled Creta electric from Hyundai. All three electric EVs will rival the Tata Curvv which has been launched earlier and come with a lot of technology while being a compact SUV in size. Crucially, all three are very important for their respective makers as an EV statement.

Battery Pack And Range

Let us look at the battery pack and the range that is on offer with the four cars. The new Creta electric has two battery pack options- 42 and 51.4 kwh battery pack. The range varies from 390 to 473km. The Curvv EV also has two battery packs- a 45kWh version with 430km range and a 55kWh version with 502km range. The BE has a 59/79kWh battery pack version with the range being 556 and 682km. The e Vitara meanwhile has a 49kWh battery pack and a 61kwh battery pack with the larger one delivering more than 500km. India spec figures of the e Vitara are awaited.

The BE 6 will do 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds while the Curvv will sprint from 0-100 km/h in 8.6 seconds. The e Vitara meanwhile is the only one to have a dual motor configuration but whether India will get it or not remains to be seen.
