Hyundai Creta Electric: The entry level 42 kWh battery pack has a range of 390 km while the 51.4 kWh battery pack has a range of 473 km.

Hyundai has unveiled its Creta electric in India. To be launched at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo on the 17th of this month, the Creta electric would be available with two battery packs.

The entry level 42 kWh battery pack has a range of 390 km while the 51.4 kWh battery pack has a range of 473 km.

Power figures for the top-end version is 171 bhp while the claimed 0-100 km/h is 7.9 seconds.

The Creta electric is distinguished by the regular Creta via the new aero efficient alloy wheels along with a tweaked front-end which also has active aero flaps. There are also pixelated design elements while the charging port is at the front of the car.

The Creta electric also has a 22 litre frunk or a storage space at the front of the car which is litres.

The interior meanwhile has a new steering wheel with a Morse code design while it continues to have the dual 10.25 inch screens joined together including a digital instrument cluster.

There is also a new shift by wire column type shifter and it has single pedal i pedal driving which is where you can make a complete stop by taking feet off the accelerator.

Some features include V2L where you can charge external devices along with other features like dual 8 way powered seats, a digital key, dual zone  climate control, ADAS level 2 linked regenerative braking, panoramic sunroof, connected car technology, powered passenger seat walk in device and more.

The seats have artificial leather and the upholstery is made from recycled materials while the cabin itself has a dual tone Granite Grey theme with a dark navy colour. There is also blue ambient lighting. Even the centre console has a floating type design.

A fast DC charger will juice up the battery in 80 mins while a 11kw wall box charger will complete a full charge in 4 hours

The Creta electric will have eight monotone and two dualtone options while there are three variants- Executive, Smart, Premium and Excellence.
