Honda Elevate 5-Seater SUV Expected India Launch, Dimensions
The Elevate is a very important model for Honda and it aims to be its best selling car for India since it is its first compact SUV.
Honda is finally all set to reveal its new made-for-India SUV the launch would be around the festive season- a month or two after the reveal. As it has been mentioned before, the new Honda SUV would be called Elevate most probably and as expected would be petrol only since Honda won't make diesel engines anymore.
The Elevate is of course based on its popular City platform which means better localisation along with also an expected aggressive price. The Elevate will be an SUV with strong and muscular lines with a link to the new HR-V globally. This is a new SUV designed for India with export also while India is where the SUV will be expected to go on sale first.
The design would be different and SUV oriented with a two-part grille along with slim headlamps. We expect it to get the Honda City like touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster too. Expect the Elevate to get features like connected car tech, wireless charging, a sunroof and more.
It will be a compact SUV in size with a length of well above 4m at around 4.3m which matches with rivals like the Hyundai Creta. The Elevate at launch will again most likely come with a petrol engine being a 1.5l unit with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic with paddle shifters.

Expect a price-tag which mirrors the competition and by that we mean a price starting from Rs 11 lakh. While the City gets a hybrid it might not come immediately for the Honda Elevate and it might come later.
