Honda Amaze Facelift Spy Shots: New Model Looks Like Shrunken City

The front end seems to be like the Elevate with the large grille and the slim LED headlamps while it does give the car a bigger look when compared to the previous gen model

The new Honda Amaze has been revealed and it looks like a smaller City which is a big change from the old version. Even underneath, the platform has been changed for the new Amaze where it is now based on the same City platform. In fact the Amaze looks like a shrunken City with the front also having hints of the Elevate. Even the colour, Obsidian Blue Pearl, is taken from the Honda City and is a new distinctive shade for this model. This new sedan would be revealed on the 4th of December.

The front end seems to be like the Elevate with the large grille and the slim LED headlamps while it does give the car a bigger look when compared to the previous gen model. The side profile also looks better with the fact that it now looks like a proper sedan. The rear though seems to be exactly similar to the new Honda City!

The tail-lamps plus the overall design is extremely similar to the bigger Honda sedan but we think it looks good even if some can confuse the rear for the city. As we had said earlier, the new Amaze would debut with ADAS features and it would be the first car in its class to have this feature. Even the interior is similar to the Elevate but the touchscreen is new being a smaller unit than on the City or Elevate plus we think the Amaze would be more spacious in its new avatar. To be powered with a 1.2l petrol engine with CVT and manual gearbox options, the new Amaze would be another option for sedan buyers.
