Elon Musk's Tesla EV May Enter Indian Markets With Two Models
Tesla Chief Elon Musk had previously announced that Tesla cars would be launched in India by the end of this year.
New Delhi: Discussions on the launch of Tesla cars in India have intensified. Tesla CEO Elon Musk had previously announced that its cars could be launched in Indian Markets by the end of this year. This was confirmed when Tesla cars were spotted testing in India.
Tesla's entry-level electric car, Model 3, has been spotted during its testing phase on Indian roads and conditions. Another Tesla - Model Y - has also been spotted during testing on Indian streets. This has started the speculation that these models would be launched in the Indian markets.
Design: Tesla's Model Y is based on the same platform as the Model 3. The design of both the vehicles is similar. LED headlights and integrated DRLs have been provided in front. The front bumper of the Model Y is slightly flatter and sportier than the Model 3. The Model Y also comes with even side creases, along with alloy wheels.
Features: The Model Y is equipped with a large 15-inch touchscreen infotainment display which is also used to control all of the car's features. Apart from this, the vehicle also comes with features like electrically adjustable front seats, heated front and rear seats, a high quality 14-speaker sound system, HEPA air filtration system. One significant feature is that the Tesla Model Y can come with a 5-seat or a 7-seat setup.
Top Speed: The top speed of this Tesla car is 217 kmph. It can accelerate from 0-96 kmph in just 4.8 seconds. Also, the model Y's battery pack gives a range of around 525 km on a single charge, which means you can travel comfortably from one city to another on a single charge.
