The C3 Aircross enters a crowded segment of SUVs but with its three-row seating, it seems it can also match up with the likes of the Maruti Ertiga? Here is a quick comparison where we compare it with the segment benchmark which is the Hyundai Creta and the Ertiga.

Dimensions

The C3 Aircross is quite a long car but matches the Creta with a length of 4300mm. The Ertia is longer with a length of 4395mm. In terms of width, the Citroen C3 Aircross comes in at 1796mm while the Ertiga is 1735mm wide. Wheelbase is an important figure and here the C3 Aircross has a wheelbase of 2671mm with the Creta at 2610mm. The Ertiga has a longer wheelbase of course at 2740mm.

Features

The Citroen C3 Aircross gets a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity while also the Creta from Hyundai gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen. The Ertiga meanwhile has a 7-inch one. All cars except the C3 Aircross provide automatic options with the Creta providing the most number with CVT and DCT plus torque converter.

Verdict

It is clear that the Citroen C3 Aircross is not a Creta rival in terms of features or performance it is closer to the Ertiga in terms of being a three-row car but the Ertiga has a proper third row while the C3 is more of a 5+2. Hence, the Citroen is a budget SUV that is aimed at those who want the SUV to look at a low price.
