Boxier New Generation 2025 Kia Seltos Could Launch With A Hybrid In India

The new generation Seltos could be based on the current platform but the interiors would be all new including a massive touchscreen joining with the new digital instrument cluster.

The new generation Kia Seltos will be a complete reworking of this suv along with a new styling theme. The big design departure would be seen with the boxier look with flat surfacing. The vertical LED signature is also all new and that will go with the revamped front-end. The new Seltos will more or less have the same size but the boxier look will make it bigger. There would be new 18inch alloy wheels too for top-end version.

The new generation Seltos could be based on the current platform but the interiors would be all new including a massive touchscreen joining with the new digital instrument cluster. Plus the new Seltos would also have the new look Kia logo on the steering wheel. We also expect a longer wheelbase with more room at the back over the current model.

The other talking point would be the move to hybrid powertrain with the Seltos new generation. However it remains to be seen whether it will come to India. A hybrid model could prove to be a popular choice for India though with greater fuel efficiency. The new generation Seltos will come later in 2026 after the global debut.

The new Seltos would be a move to a new edgier design much like the Syros with a boxier look. Currently, Seltos sales have slowed down with high competition and this new model would bring it right up with its rivals notably the Hyundai Creta which is currently the most popular SUV in its class.
