New Lexus RX SUV To Be Launched At Auto Expo 2023 — Check Features

The new RX would be the main model for Lexus in the Indian market along with the ES sedan and the NX SUV- all of which have hybrid powertrains.

Auto Expo 2023 India: Lexus will be the only luxury car maker present at the 2023 Auto Expo and will launch the new generation RX there. The RX is globally one of the bestselling Lexus cars and gets a new generation model which India is getting. The new RX is sleeker and is bigger than the old one along with a sportier look.

Inside, there is a lot more technology on offer with a larger 14-inch touchscreen like on the new NX along with new features too. There would be ADAS features as well while the interior will get vegan leather instead of the usual leather upholstery. Lexus has also made the new generation RX a lot roomier now with a longer wheelbase along with being lowered a bit which helps better ingress/egress. Even the luggage space has now been increased. 

Globally, there are many options on offer but India would get the strong hybrid which will make it stand out since it would be offering more efficiency along with an EV mode. The RX 350h would be the engine option for the Indian market with a hybrid powertrain which has a 2.4-litre petrol engine with more power than the previous generation RX. The new RX in this configuration makes 245hp and claims to have a 0-1100 km/h time of 8 seconds. The new RX is a full-size luxury SUV which would be positioned above the NX in India.

The new generation LX would also be expected to be shown while another interesting showcase would be the LF-Z concept car too. The LX meanwhile is its flagship luxury SUV and is available globally with both large petrol as well as a diesel powertrain. Besides the LX, the new RX would be the main model for Lexus in the Indian market along with the ES sedan and the NX SUV- all of which have hybrid powertrains.
