Rahu, the malevolent planet, was on its way to the Sun to create an eclipse and encountered Hanuman. Despite Rahu's attempts to stop him, Hanuman proved stronger.
Rahu sought assistance from Lord Indra, the King of Gods, to address the situation. In an effort to resolve the issue, Indra hurled his thunderbolt weapon (Vajra), striking Hanuman and rendering him unconscious.
