Three dead, 16 injured after busses collide in New York

New York [United States], Sept 19 (ANI): Three people were killed and 16 others injured after a private tour bus flying down a busy Queens' street in New York crashed into a Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus on Monday.

The driver of the Dahlia Travel and Tours bus, Raymond Mong, 49, was killed in the accident along with a 55-year-old man aboard the MTA and a pedestrian on the sidewalk

"We've had a really tragic morning here in Flushing, Queens. Just shocking to see the scene over there. Hard to compare it to anything I've ever seen, the sheer destruction from the impact of this collision," CNN quoted Mayor Bill de Blasio as saying during a press conference on Monday.

Investigators were interviewing the driver of the MTA bus, who was among the injured.

The injured were transported to nearby hospital.

The New York City's Fire Department was accessing the building impacted by the crash to make sure it is secure and safe, CNN reported. (ANI)
