Sindhi Baloch Forum holds anti-Pakistan protest in London
London [UK], December 11 (ANI): A large number of people from the Baloch and Sindhi community recently held a joint protest at Trafalgar Square, London against atrocities and human rights violations pepetrated by Pakistan.
They raised their voice against enforced disappearances, torture, killing and dumping of the bodies of social and political activists by security agencies in Pakistan.
They also protested the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects in Balochistan and Sindh and increased violence against religious minorities in Pakistan.
The event was organised by the Sindhi Baloch Forum in collaboration with the World Baloch Organisation (WBO), Baloch National Movement (BNM), World Sindhi Congress (WSC), Baloch Human Rights Council UK (BHRC-UK) and Baloch Students Organisation - Azad (BSO-Azad).
The demonstrators led a procession from Trafalgar Square to 10 Downing Street.
The participants were seen holding placards saying "Pakistan is committing Genocide in Baloch and Sindh" and raised slogans like "Pakistan stop killings" to highlight the heinous crimes committed by the country's security agencies based in Balochistan and Sindh.
Nooruddin Mengal, Dr Alam Shah and Dr Lakhu Luhana had spoken at the rally and told the participants that Pakistan is committing crimes against humanity in Balochistan and Sindh.
They strongly condemned the abuction of Baloch women and children by Pakistani agencies.
They requested the international committee to press upon Pakistan to stop the atrocities against Baloch and Sindhi people.
At the end of the protest, a petition was submitted to British Prime Minister Theresa May requesting to use her influence for the establishment of an international commission to investigate crimes against humanity being perpetrated by Pakistan. (ANI)
