Morocco repatriates 338 nationals stranded in Libya

Tripoli [Libya], Jan 14 (ANI): The Moroccan authority on Saturday repatriated its 338 nations stranded in Libya.

According to the Moroccan Ministry of Expatriates and Migration's statement, the migrants were to be flown to Casablanca on the Libyan airline Afriqiyah and then transported by bus to their hometowns, the local media reported.

Scores of Moroccan migrants, who had sought to enter Europe illegally, were stuck in Libyan detention centres.

In December and October last year, Morocco repatriated over 400 national, fearing their connection with IS or other terror groups. (ANI)
