Jakarta to organize kite exhibition on Ramayana, Mahabharta theme

Jakarta [Indonesia], May 29 (ANI): Jakarta is set to organize kite exhibition on the theme of Ramayana and Mahabharta.

While the Ramayana theme is designed by Indonesian organisers, the Mahabharta theme is crafted by Indians.

It is to be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on his five-day, a three-nation visit to Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia to boost the Act East Policy today.

The Prime Minister took to his Facebook to inform that the visit is aimed at enhancing India's relations and engagements with all the three countries, which forms Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

While it will be Prime Minister Modi's first visit to Indonesia, it will be his third to Singapore.

The Prime Minister had previously visited Singapore on two occasions - in March 2015 to attend the state funeral of the city state's first Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew and then again in November the same year for his first official visit.(ANI)
