If you target judiciary, PTI will target you: Imran warns Sharif

Okara [Pakistan], Dec.18 (ANI): Former Test cricketer and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has warned former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif not to target the nation's judiciary, failing which his party will take all steps to expose his high level of corruption.

Addressing a public meeting here on Sunday evening, Imran sarcastically remarked, "Cowards cannot launch campaigns. Nevertheless, if you do come out (against judiciary) the PTI will come out against you."

The Dawn further quoted him, as saying Sharif always wanted a judiciary that could do his bidding. Khan said that Nawaz Sharif was campaigning only to save the 300 billion rupees he had laundered. He claimed that the Sharifs had become owners of more than 40 mills during their stay in power.

The PTI chairman said strong institutions could provide strong base for the development and progress of the country. (ANI with inputs)
