Get ready to bag exciting travel deals this long weekend

New Delhi [India], August 10 (ANI): The travel bug is fast biting the youth of India, and companies are just as fast in keeping up with the trend by giving exciting holiday deals and packages during the long weekend.

It is evident by the increased number of bookings identified by travel companies.

Goomo, an omni-channel travel tech startup is expecting a 30 percent hike in domestic flight bookings. Similarly, Make My trip booked 27 percent more trips this monsoon, as compared to the last.

While the three most popular Indian destinations are Kerala, Goa and Udaipur, the international destinations being booked the most for the long weekend are Thailand, Singapore, Dubai and Sri Lanka.

Goomo's CEO Varun Gupta has observed the highest demand for long weekend travels in metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, and Kolkata, closely followed by tier two cities like Amritsar, Baroda, Guwahati, and Lucknow.(ANI)
