Yogi government withdraws rape case against ex Union Minister Swami Chinmayanand
Yogi government withdrew pending cases against BJP leaders in Muzaffarnagar riots. Now, the Uttar Pradesh government has passed another order to withdraw rape case against former Union minister of state for Home Swami Chinmayanand.
A disciple of Swami Chinmayanand from Badyun district had registered rape case against him on November 30, 2011 at Sadar Police Station in Shahjahanpur. The victim alleged that BJP leader had raped her after keeping her captive in 2004. She was also given life threats.
