Regarding Neeraj Chopra’s family, they are celebrating his success. His mother, Saroj Devi, shared her joy with ABP News correspondent Sachin Kumar. She expressed immense pride in her son’s achievement and mentioned that when he returns, he will talk to his mother. She congratulated him and said that she feels proud of her son and the entire family.

When asked about Neeraj's success, she mentioned that achieving either a gold or a silver medal is a great accomplishment. She highlighted Neeraj's hard work and dedication. She also explained that mothers are often more attached to their children compared to fathers.

Neeraj’s journey started when he was around 8 years old and had gained some weight. To address this, he was sent to practice sports, where he eventually excelled in javelin throw. His mother noted that Neeraj loves home-cooked food and prefers simple dishes like vegetables and roti. However, churma is his favorite, and she plans to prepare it for him when he returns home. She reminisced about how Neeraj began javelin to lose weight and how his journey progressed from there.
