The video, created using artificial intelligence (AI), falsely depicts Kohli disparaging Gill and suggesting he shouldn't try to emulate Kohli. Notably, while Kohli's voice is heard, his mouth doesn't move in the video, revealing its manipulated nature. This deepfake is based on an old interview, with AI editing to create misleading content. Previously, Kohli was featured in a deepfake promoting a betting app. In the current video, Kohli allegedly comments on Gill's talent and advises against trying to replicate Kohli's career. Kohli had previously addressed similar issues via social media.
