Two new teams to enter in IPL from Pune and Rajkot
Pune and Rajkot are the new franchises in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The announcement was made today by Anurag Thakur. These teams have replaced the suspended teams of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals for a period of two years.
Kolkata-based business tycoon Sanjiv Goenka's company New Rising bought Pune franchise. Whereas the Rajkot franchise was taken by Intex Mobiles.
