BCCI Secretary Jay Shah Confirms Rohit Sharma to Remain Captain of Indian Cricket Team

BCCI Secretary Jay Shah has decided on the future of Rohit Sharma as the captain who led India to victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Jay Shah clarified that Rohit Sharma will captain the Indian team in the ICC 2025 Champions Trophy and the World Test Championship finals. However, Team India has not yet secured a place in the World Test Championship final.

In a video message, Jay Shah said that Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian team in the World Test Championship and Champions Trophy. He also expressed full confidence that under Rohit Sharma's captaincy, India will win both trophies.
